Led by State addiction treatment agencies, the NTN is intended to promote and support the adoption of evidence-based or promising practices in the treatment of substance use disorders. NTN emphasizes comprehensive, culturally responsive approaches. SAMHSA/CSAT is providing resources to support the facilitation of the NTN Steering Committee's planning process. The outcome of the planning process will be the development of a two-year work plan and NTN operating procedures. The NTN will serve as a permanent national structure for facilitating dialogue to improve programs and practices in the substance use disorder treatment field. For more information, see: NASADAD
